OSHA Updates
- The Heat Illness & Prevention Rule – If you work in California, there is now an indoor heat rule. Put out notice of rule-making in October 2021.
- This is a priority for the current administration
- Typically protocols for access to drinking water. Regulating how much water is on site.

- Health monitoring

- The Worker Walkaround Designated Process (coming out in May 2023)
- Could have a Union representative onsite during OSHA walkarounds
- Following in the footsteps of the “OSH Act” which was originally a backdoor way to unionize
- Anticipate it will come out as a regulation in May
- Union representatives can be deemed as “necessary”
