Journeyman Electrician – Service

Position responsibilities include:

• Installation of new electrical systems.
• Servicing of existing electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and investigate electrical systems.
• Plan and design electrical systems.
• Conduit installation.
• Switch gear installation.
• Lighting and lighting control installation.
• Must be able to complete service calls and small projects.
• Must be able to work independently as well as with an apprentice.
• Must be responsible for monitoring and organizing a company vehicle.

Position requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of electrical service work experience in a service truck.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs. and to reach, bend and stoop regularly.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must have your own hand tools.  Must own and have working knowledge of voltmeter/amp probes.
• Must be able to work a 40-hour work week of 8–10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
• Must participate in rotating on-call basis as we are a 24/7 service provider.
• Evening and night work may occasionally be required.

Salary is based on experience, range of $32-$39/hr.
