IECRM Members, Partners and Community – 

IT’S TIME FOR ACTION! The month of April is filled with energy industry opportunities to learn, engage and advocate. I’ll make this month’s CEO Letter short so you have time to REGISTER, REVIEW and ACT on all the important items and issues coming our way this month! 

SPRING TO-DO CHECKLIST!

  1. Summit Awards – The nominations are in and you do not want to miss this year’s Celebration of Excellence in the electrical industry at Empower Field when the Annual Summit Awards are presented on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Don’t miss the special behind-the-scenes Safety Tour during the reception (separate ticket required – get yours today!)
  2. Career Fairs – Contractor members register for a booth at an upcoming Career Fair hosted by IECRM and gain access to a targeted pool of job seekers. Help us spread the word to potential job seekers by posting on social media and printing and distributing flyers.
  3. Emerging Leaders Graduation – All Emerging Leaders Alumni, Sponsors/Current Employers, Future Sponsors and Committee Members are welcome to join us for the 2022-23 Emerging Leaders Program Commencement and Happy Hour on Thursday, April 27th from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM at IECRM.
  4. Wire-Off Competition & Car Show – (We need YOU to bring your vehicle passion project!). Register to join us on Friday, May 5 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM for the first-ever IECRM Car and Vehicle Showcase and Happy Hour during the live Wire-Off Competition at IECRM.

Join David Scott, Marilyn Stansbury and other IECRM Contractors and Members for the return of the in-person Day at the US Capitol during the IEC National Workforce & Policy Conference in Washington DC, June 21-23, 2023.   

Last fall, IECRM had the opportunity to host the video crew from Dennis Quaid’s public media program ‘Viewpoint.” Christian Veeder, industry leaders from around the country and I were interviewed and you will recognize other familiar scenes and locations. Thank you Paul Lingo, Jay Commuso at I-Pro Martin, Sam Gluck at APCO, Russell Tafoya at Weifield and others who helped in the production! Watch the video here.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
