IECRM’s Commitment to Veterans: Empowering Journeys
Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) proudly sponsors 99.5 The Mountain’s Radiothon to Benefit Project Sanctuary. This non-profit organization aids military veterans and their families as they transition back into civilian life. This marks the second year that IECRM has supported this cause.
As Veteran’s Day approaches, IECRM is gearing up for a special live radio interview during the morning drive time, highlighting the IECRM’s unwavering commitment to veterans and the opportunities available in the electrical industry.
One of the driving forces behind IECRM’s veteran support initiatives is Sam Gluck, Vice President of APCO Electric. Recognized at IECRM’s Summit Awards in April 2023 with the esteemed Powering Veterans Forward Award, Gluck’s dedicated service in the military and his continued efforts to guide veterans and job seekers toward careers in the trades have been truly impactful. Gluck, alongside the dedicated team at APCO Electric, has spearheaded numerous projects in the metro area and across Colorado, amplifying the organization’s positive impact on the lives of veterans in the industry.
During the upcoming interview, Gluck will shed light on IECRM’s role in fostering success and opportunity within the electrical industry. He will share some of his most memorable “that’s my project” moments and provide insights into veterans’ unique challenges when transitioning back into civilian life. Moreover, Gluck will illuminate the pathway to success in the trades for veterans and their spouses.
In conjunction with National Apprenticeship Week, IECRM is opening its doors on Thursday, November 16, from 3-6 p.m. to invite individuals to learn more about the organization’s mission and the wealth of opportunities within the electrical industry.
Through its continued dedication to supporting veterans and fostering their professional growth, IECRM is not just lighting up homes and businesses but also illuminating the way for veterans to find success and fulfillment in their civilian careers.
