IECRM Sponsored 99.5 The Mountain’s Radiothon, That Raised Over $52,000 to Benefit Project Sanctuary
Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to aiding veterans in their transition to civilian life. Their recent sponsorship of 99.5 The Mountain’s Radiothon to benefit Project Sanctuary is a testament to IECRM’s ongoing dedication to supporting military veterans and their families.
Sam Gluck, Vice President of APCO Electric and IECRM Board Member, is a driving force behind IECRM’s veteran support initiative. Sam expressed gratitude, stating, “I was honored and blessed to be able to give back to IECRM and Project Sanctuary during the Radiothon on Veterans Day on 99.5 The Mountain to help Veterans and families in need. APCO Electric started things off with a $1,000 donation, and I challenged my fellow IECRM members to do the same, putting their money where their mouths are.”
Project Sanctuary expressed their gratitude: “We’re thrilled to share that this year’s 99.5 The Mountain Veterans Day Radiothon raised $52,032 to help heal military families! We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Denver community and beyond for their generous donations. These gifts will help ensure we can continue to serve military families through our therapeutic retreats and family support programs in 2024. Special thanks to Dan Hardee and his team for broadcasting live for 12 hours straight! You are amazing! And to our volunteers manning the phone lines and our graduate families sharing their stories- we couldn’t do it without you!”
In conjunction with National Apprenticeship Week, IECRM is opening its doors on Thursday, November 16, from 3-6 p.m. to invite individuals to learn more about the organization’s mission and the wealth of opportunities within the electrical industry.
Through its continued dedication to supporting veterans and fostering their professional growth, IECRM is not just lighting up homes and businesses but also illuminating a way for veterans to find success and fulfillment in their civilian careers.
