DENVER, Colorado – November 18, 2014 – Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) (www.iecrm.org) have just got done putting away their dress clothes after a night of festivities, celebration, networking, and camaraderie at the 2014 Annual IECRM Business Dinner.
The event was not only a celebration of 2014’s many milestones and achievements for IECRM, but also a chance for members to cast their vote for the 2015-2016 IECRM Board of Directors. Guests heard speeches from each of the nominees during dinner, and then the resulting ballots were counted up.

The Annual Business Dinner also touched on many of the past year’s highlights and accomplishments, including IECRM hitting the 1,000th Apprentice Student mark and becoming the largest electrical training school in the US, the launch of IECRM’snewest committee – the Veteran’s Initiative led by IECRM COO Kristin Kim Haynes, the welcoming of two new additions to the IECRM team – Amy Montoya (Administrative Coordinator) and Ryan Daniel Resavage (Marketing Manager), and of course, the event served as a formal follow up celebration for IECRM’s recent taking of the “Chapter of the Year” award at the IEC National Convention among other notable and well deserved awards brought home by several IECRM members.
Not only was it a great night to be part of the IECRM family, but a great night for charity as well. The Annual Business Dinner doubles as the kickoff event for IECRM’s contribution to the US Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” drive. IECRM would like to thank 1st Electric Contractors, Inc. (www.1stelectric.net) and Encore Electric (www.encoreelectric.com) for being some of this year’s selfless, all-star donors to this charitable cause. A special thanks goes out to the sponsors that made the event and evening possible – Premier Sponsor Greenlee (www.greenlee.com), Allcable (www.allcableco.com), Colorado Business Bank (www.cobizbank.com), Milwaukee Tool (www.milwaukeetool.com), and Thomas & Betts (www.tnb.com).
Overall, the evening provided a great chance for IECRM members to gather and reflect on the past year’s personal and business successes, make plans to progress into the future, and reward all of the individuals who helped forge a period of vast growth, development, and achievement for all members of the IECRM family. It has been a wonderful and exciting year for IECRM and they plan on continuing that trend well into the New Year and 2015.
