IEC National is Accepting Applications for the 2025 Emerging Leaders Program

IEC Rocky Mountain

The IEC National Emerging Leaders Program is a six-month leadership development experience for electrical and systems contracting professionals. Each year, six to ten individuals are selected to form a cohort class to participate in skills development workshops, networking opportunities, leadership exercises, and project development experiences.

Is the Program for You?

Being an “emerging leader” has nothing to do with age or job title. You may be an emerging leader without knowing it, missing out on opportunities to fully liberate the leader within you. If you desire to develop important leadership skills and advance your career, the IEC Emerging Leaders Program is for you!

Application Process

The application process consists of your resume, small essays, a letter of recommendation, and a letter of support from your current employer. The program cost is $2,750. Submit your application below.

What is the Difference Between the IECRM Emerging Leaders Program and the IEC National Emerging Leaders Program?
IECRM offers an Emerging Leaders Program each year to develop the skills of aspiring leaders within the organization’s local membership network. IEC National also offers an Emerging Leaders Program with virtual leadership skills training sessions and the ability for individuals to connect with peers on a national level who are within the IEC network.  There are currently 53 IEC chapters in the US.

Applications for the 2025 IEC Emerging Leaders Program are due Friday, February 14, 2025. Click here for more information.
