Workforce Development is one of the most important economic issues facing Colorado and the nation. IECRM is here to assist its member companies to fill open positions and develop their workforce by hosting four separate career fairs in 2022. The first one is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, 2022, and will be co-hosted and promoted by Adams County Workforce Center (ADCO-WFC) on a virtual platform.

We anticipate a record number of job seekers for March’s career fair for a few reasons:

• ADCO-WFC will promote this opportunity to everyone that has signed up to receive unemployment over the past couple of years in the State of Colorado and that has marked “construction” or “electrician” as an interest.
• The current state of the pandemic is allowing for more people and companies to return to normal.
• Last year’s turnout for the co-hosted virtual career fair was the largest turnout in over 2 years with 120+ attendees and we anticipate even more this year!
• People that qualified for Pandemic Unemployment are needing to return to the workforce since benefits are no longer receiving benefits.
