Happy Fall Y’all!

NoVember is my favorite month of the year to share this message with you as we express our GRATITUDE for our members, partners, and community. As an industry, an association and as individuals we have many reasons to be thankful.

Voting!

We are grateful to live in a democratic society that allows us the freedom and opportunity to express our values and beliefs through participation in the election process. Please be sure you have voted and encouraged your employees to vote before next Tuesday, November 8th. In Colorado, it’s a simple process to complete the ballot that was mailed to your home and drop it in a local collection station. The State of Colorado Blue Book outlines the statewide ballot initiatives. A recap of IECRMs Voting & the Workplace video and more information to Educate * Inform * Get Out the Vote is here. The industry needs your voice to elect officials that support IECRM’s workforce, business, and economic priorities in Colorado.

Veterans!

We are also grateful for the many Veterans who have chosen to transition from military service to civilian life through newfound careers in the electric industry. This year, IECRM celebrates our Veteran community by sponsoring the Project Sanctuary Radiothon. Join us during morning drive time on 99.5 FM The Mountain on Friday, November 11, 2022, for interviews, recognition, and promotion of the IECRM Career Fair

Valued!

During November, we also promote and recognize apprentices in the industry during National Apprenticeship Week sponsored by the US Department of Labor Office of Registered Apprenticeship. Join us in recognizing the value our apprentices bring to the industry during the weeklong celebration from November 14 – 17, 2022. Activities include daily activities, the Quarterly Member Lunch and Annual Policy Forum on November 16, and a community Open House and Career Fair on November 17. Members, prospective members, job seekers, high school students and guests are invited to see IECRM in action, tour the classrooms and labs, experience hands-on industry demonstrations and find a career in the electrical industry! Food and drinks will be served daily 3-6 p.m. RSVP as a Member for a booth at the Career Fair or as an Industry Partner for demonstrations.

Vision!

Soon you will be asked in multiple ways to make contributions to a variety of programs during Colorado Gives Day! One way to give back, receive a tax credit for your business AND support the vision of IECRM to continuously improve and expand its programs is to donate to the IECRM Enterprise Zone Fund. Contributions to this program gives you a direct tax credit and helps ensure IECRM attracts, retains and prepares the next generation electrician for Journeworker licensure!

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.

We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

(Payment Plans are available, please reference the Self Pay Payment Plan Policy.)

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy

We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.

● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
