AMPLIFY Pre-Apprenticeship Program & Upcoming Career Fairs

IECRM’s AMPLIFY pre-apprenticeship program is a cornerstone of its workforce development efforts. This comprehensive program allows individuals interested in pursuing a career in the electrical industry to gain more insight into the career path without a financial commitment. AMPLIFY provides participants with industry insights, hands-on experience in electrical labs, and exposure to essential skills like conduit bending.

During the program, participants gain certifications in OSHA-10 and CPR. These certifications give them an advantage when seeking apprenticeships with IECRM member contractors. The program concludes with a dedicated hiring fair where IECRM members can connect with qualified candidates. Click here to view upcoming AMPLIFY sessions.

IECRM’s AMPLIFY program has experienced significant growth in success since its inception in 2021, so much so that we are hosting three sessions this year! IECRM member contractors hired 12 out of the 15 AMPLIFY graduates during this year’s first session in April. This track record highlights the effectiveness and value of the program in connecting participants with employment opportunities. The next AMPLIFY session will conclude on Thursday, June 29th, coinciding with the upcoming Career Fair.

IECRM organizes several Career Fairs before and during enrollment for the 4-Year Apprenticeship Training Program as an initiative to continually develop the industry’s workforce by allowing aspiring apprentices and experienced electricians to connect with potential employers. IECRM advertises its Career Fairs through various channels, including billboards, radio ads, online job boards, and direct outreach to individuals interested in apprenticeships.

IECRM member contractors can participate in career fairs by hosting a booth to promote their company, interview potential candidates, and interact with job seekers. During the first hour of each fair, IECRM member contractors have exclusive access to AMPLIFY graduates. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with top talent in the electrical industry. Click here to host a booth at an upcoming Career Fair and to learn more about other ways IECRM helps develop your workforce (members only).

In addition to being invited to host a booth at our Career Fairs, IECRM members receive additional benefits including access to exclusive training and networking events. Not an IECRM member? Learn more about member benefits and sign up for membership here.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.

To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.

We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

(Payment Plans are available, please reference the Self Pay Payment Plan Policy.)

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy

We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.

● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
