Welcome to 2023! I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions. I reflect on the prior year, I set personal and professional goals but I wouldn’t call them resolutions. Most of the time I set my sights on what we are “building” next.
As I was thinking about what we accomplished and what we’re building on in the coming year, I decided to use the mantra, “be light on my feet!”
To be light on your feet means to be quick, agile, nimble, and graceful. I think that’s the perfect way to describe the year ahead. We know the language of the last two years. The pandemic, supply chain logistics, and workforce challenges have taught us flexibility, patience, and creativity. Now that we are truly used to “pivoting,” it is time to refresh and renew in ways that lighten the load, enable efficiency and innovation, and provide a new way to focus.
This month’s eNews is not light on content. Rather it is full of everything you need to know to have a bright year ahead in guidance, relationship, and partnership with IECRM.
