IECRM celebrated National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) from November 18 to 22, recognizing our dedicated apprentices with various events and activities.
IECRM apprentices balance full-time work during the day with one night of class per week, as well as hours of studying and homework, demonstrating incredible dedication to their careers. To show our appreciation, IECRM provided dinner for all in-person students each evening during NAW.
At our Northglenn campus, apprentices explored a mini-expo featuring innovative tools from our Industry Partners. All students who participated in either the mini-expo or online by posting a selfie and tagging it as #iecrmstudent were entered to win prizes such as a variety of $25 gift cards from restaurants and stores, valuable hand and power tools, and even large Milwaukee pack-out toolboxes, thanks to the generous support of SouthWire, Milwaukee Tool, and IDEAL Industries.
On November 21, IECRM held an Open House event. We welcomed offsite students, prospective apprentices, and members for an afternoon of hands-on tool demos, food, networking, classroom tours, and information about our Apprenticeship Training Program and membership benefits.
The week wrapped up with a poker party exclusively for our apprentices, offering prizes and cash rewards for top players!
Here are our 2024 Poker Party winners:
1st Place: Nico Corradino
2nd Place: Joshua Mozisek
3rd Place: Lucas Colin
Thank you to our sponsors and donors for making this event a success!
