If you are an electrician in Colorado, here are the the upcoming CEU Requirements (effective in September 2017):
For Residential Wiremen, Journeyman, and Master Electricians to renew their licenses in 2017, they must first complete any Professional Development Units (PDU) assigned to them after the Continuing Competency (CC) Program Assessment was completed in 2014.
However, license holders will not complete a new Continuing Competency Assessment. Instead, they will be required to complete 24 hours of continuing education before the following renewal period in September 2020.
(House Bill 16-1073 | April 15, 2016)
License Renewal: Board issued licenses and electrical contractor registrations shall be renewed every three (3) years to correspond with the Board’s adoption of the National Electrical Code. To renew your license, you must: (1) Take the CC Assessment and (2) Submit a completed Learning Plan (if applicable). Please note: taking the CC Assessment does not renew your license. Your license is not renewed until you have submitted a renewal application and paid the applicable fee if renewing in 2017.
Have a license in multiple states? Custom packages are available for multi-state license holders.
