Project Management for Electricians

This course will cover the principles of commercial electrical estimating and project management.
You will learn the basics of managing an electrical project from breaking down an estimate, writing a proposal, contracts, tracking hours and materials, pricing and negotiating change orders, and collecting retention monies.
This Project Management Course is part 2 of 2 classes. Part 1 is the Electrical Estimating Course that runs for two consecutive evenings, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 13th & 14th, from 4:30pm – 8:30pm. Register for both!
The instructor for this course will be Kerry Felske.
Kerry graduated from his electrical apprenticeship in 1981. He has successfully estimated and project managed design/build projects or plan & spec for all types of work from residential, commercial, industrial, high-rise, restaurants, and retail, tenant build out, hospitals, institutional, as well as tele/data, low voltage systems, fire alarm, & security work. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of the electrical business. He has been teaching electrical classes since 2001 in Chicago and Denver. Kerry holds a Chicago Supervising Electrician’s License and is a Master Electrician in Colorado.
