Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain and Horizons North Credit Union are hosting an Open House in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week.
Come network with other local area businesses, and tour the training facility where IECRM is preparing the next generation electrician.
Please bring your favorite holiday non-perishable food item or an unwrapped toy to benefit the Community Food Bank!
Each year the Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Bank partners with the City of Northglenn to help
those in need by hosting a large Holiday giveaway at the church parish hall.
Over 500 families in need attend this event. Families are registered clients of the food bank or
are nominated through local Adams County schools. Everyone who attends, receives a gift
certificate to purchase an entire holiday dinner. The parish typically fundraises $25,000 to fund
this giveaway! Clients are also provided Small toys/stocking stuffers for their children and entire
room is filled with donated coats and jackets for those needing warm clothing for the winter.
The City of Northglenn distributes over 400 bicycles that are collected and repaired throughout
the year, and all families that attend this giveaway are eligible to receive bicycles.
This event is facilitated and hosted by the wonderful volunteers from the Immaculate Heart of
Mary Food Bank and volunteers from the City of Northglenn. Many local businesses and
organizations also participate in this event.
Clients must be registered in advance to attend this event. Our giveaway is an incredible
outreach for hundreds of struggling Adams County residents in the Thornton & Northglenn
communities and one of the largest events of this kind in the North Metro area.
